The turn

Everything the field does, in the order it does it, with the numbers it is cut with. There is nothing else to know: no strategy document, no parameters somebody updates on a Tuesday.

······TURN —

the turn, in four scenes

I

The ring

The field is cut into 6 sectors, each one tokenized stock, in an order that is graven once and never changes: AAPL → MSFT → NVDA → GOOGL → AMZN → SPY → back to AAPL. Every MUYU is a strip across all of them at once. There is no way to hold one sector, and no way for the field to hold a stock that is not in the ring.

The stocks are Robinhood’s tokenized equities on this chain, and each is priced by its own Chainlink feed. The feed prints the price of one token, the issuer’s multiplier folded in, so a dividend shows up as a higher print for the same unit.

II

The turn

A turn is 5 NYSE sessions, counted in bells off the calendar contract AFTERBELL left on this chain, which knows every session and every early close to 2036. A turn opens at a close and ends at a close.

At turn t, sector t mod 6 is the harvest. The sector harvested at turn t − 1 is sown. Everything else stands planted. When a harvest is fully taken its sector rests in dollars until its sowing the next turn.

So at any moment one sector’s share of the field — one 6th — is meant to be in dollars. That is the fallow, and it is where dollar withdrawals are paid from.

III

The windows

The field never sends an order to a pool. Each turn it opens windows at the Chainlink print, and anyone may fill them:

  • harvest — buy the harvest sector’s stock from the field, paying price × (1 − rebate) in USDG, any amount up to what it still holds;
  • plant — sell stock to any sector below its share, receiving price × (1 + rebate), up to that sector’s shortfall and never beyond what the fallow can spare once one 6th is kept back;
  • sow — bring stock to a sector below its share at the print, no rebate, and take MUYU for it.

The rebate is 0 when the turn opens and climbs in a straight line to 1% at the turn’s last bell. It is a function of the clock, the same for everyone at the same second. The first person for whom it covers the cost of the trade does the work; the field pays the least the market will take.

Windows fill only during a session. Off hours the feeds hold their last print, and a print held through a weekend is a standing offer to whoever knows where the market went.

IV

The harvest

Every sector keeps its basis: the dollars spent sowing what it holds. A harvest fill of q units takes q / held of the basis out with them. What the buyer pays above that basis share is the harvest: it is added to a per-share accumulator at that instant and belongs to whoever holds MUYU then, in proportion. It is claimable in USDG and it waits; a transfer of MUYU settles both sides first, so no harvest already earned ever moves with a token.

The basis goes back to the fallow. It is what sows the next sector. The field is therefore replanted at the size it was sown; what it grows leaves as harvest, what it loses it loses. A dividend paid while a sector stood is in the harvest because it is in the print.

V

Seed and the doors out

Deposit USDG at any hour and take MUYU at the field’s value, provided every print behind that value is recent. The first deposit opens the field at one MUYU per dollar and must be at least 100 USDG. Seed sits in the fallow and the windows work it into the sectors below their share.

Withdraw dollars from the fallow at the field’s value, during a session, up to what the fallow holds; 0.3% stays with the field for those who remain.

Redeem in kind at any hour: burn MUYU and take a pro-rata slice of everything — the fallow and every sector’s raw units. No price is read, there is no fee, and nothing can shut it.

VI

What nobody can do

The ring, its order, the turn, the rebate cap, the dollar and the clock are graven. There is no pause, no upgrade, no keeper, no manager. The owner can repoint a sector at a new Chainlink aggregator when one is retired, set the exit fee under 1%, and send back a token that is not part of the field. The owner cannot mint MUYU, take a sector’s stock or the dollars out, or stop a redemption.

VII

What can go wrong, stated

  • A feed prints wrong. Deposits, dollar withdrawals and the windows read it; redemption in kind does not. A feed that goes quiet past its age shuts the doors that read it and leaves the one that does not.
  • Nobody works a window. The rebate climbs to its cap and stays there; the calendar keeps turning and a sector can be off its phase for a turn. Nothing breaks, the field is just slow.
  • The issuer. These tokens can be paused or burned by their issuer. The field holds them like anyone else.
  • The market. A sector harvested below its basis pays no harvest and the field is smaller. This is a field of equities; it is not a savings account.
VIII

Where it is

The field is not cut yet. The clock at and the feeds are live; the ring above is the one the launcher cuts by default.
